Swimming Pool

Warrington School is very proud to have its own heated swimming pool, with the children swimming every day in the first and fourth terms of the year. This is a major part of their physical education program, with an emphasis on developing water confidence and learning to swim for our junior children, and a chance for our more advanced swimmers to participate in improving their swimming technique and gaining some valuable swimming mileage/practice each day. From time to time we also utilise a qualified swimming instructor to work with the children.

Also each year as part of our swimming programme, usually in the second term, we have a week’s swimming lessons at Moana Pool.
