There is an activity fee of $130 a year per child. This contributes to the extra curriculum activities such as trips and activities the school does throughout the year. The school doesn’t ask for any school donations.
After-school care is available on-site each afternoon 3-5 pm. The children participate in a wide range of activities- board games, gymnastics, tennis, hut building, art activities, and much more. After-school care can be booked through the school office before 12 pm of the day needed. The cost is $8.00 per hour, we charge in hourly blocks, and is billed termly.
Assemblies are held regularly throughout the term. Dates are set out in the school newsletter. They start at 2.30pm and all parents and whānau are welcome to attend.
Warrington School offers their families access to the Scholastic book club. Leaflets will be sent home with each child twice a term. All orders and payments are to be made through the Scholastic book club website.
Our local Blueskin Nursery Cafe provides hot lunches each Thursday. Order forms with pricing and options can be collected from the school office. Payment and ordering is to be completed at Blueskin Nursery Cafe.

All children are welcome to bring a heat-up lunch any day of the week. The food will be heated in our oven so please bring along food in a heatproof container (no plastic). At lunch, the senior students will deliver the meals to your child’s classroom.
Lost property is kept in the Music Room, behind the school office. Please check it often, any items left at the end of the term will be washed and donated.
Warrington School offers paid tuition for the keyboard, guitar, and ukulele. These sessions are taken during the school day and can be organized through the office.
Newsletters come out monthly and are sent to the email address that was provided at enrolment. Enrolled families can also access the school newsletters on the Skool Loop app. If you would like a hard copy of the newsletter or you would like to be added to the newsletter email list, please contact the Office.
Seesaw is used in the junior school as an interactive platform to share the learning that is happening in Room Three. For more information about getting the best out of this platform please talk to the classroom teacher.
Skool Loop is our main communication portal for enrolled families. Download the app ‘Skool Loop’ and follow the clear instructions to gain access. It is where you will find notices, absentee, calendar of events, permission slips, interview booking, and newsletters. Look out for the weekly Sunday afternoon notice that prepares families for the week ahead.
Stationery is provided and invoiced at the start of each year or as needed.
Uniform is not compulsory, however the children wear our school uniform to school trips and sporting events. The sports uniform is an orange school logo t-shirt which can be purchased at the school office. The hockey uniform is the school t-shirt, black shorts, and orange knee-length socks (purchased at Otago Sports Depot). All children are given a school hat when they start school. These are kept at school and are worn when outside at school and on trips during Terms 1, 3 and 4. Replacement hats can be purchased from the office.
Black school logo hoodies are also available. These are ordered only once a year.
